A Pretty Village, Post Office and Watermill

  Small Picturesque Stream that runs down the side of the road is liable to flooding in heavy rains.
  The Church is dedicated to St Mary and dates back to the 13th century and contains memorial stones dedicated to the Hatcliffe family dating back to 1525.

The post office is a large white building in the village centre. There is a wooden plaque next to the front door, VR is carved onto it apparently signifying the influence of Queen Victoria to the area.
