So what is this site for?
Well anyone with an interest in coming to the area can find many places of interest to see whilst here, and people who live here can access local information they may need. The site was designed to be as informative as possible but still having a fun feel to it if possible.

There are other sites on the internet with reference to grimsby, most are very out of date, including one that is advertising meals at a restaurant that was demolished 3 years ago. The council have their own site, but it is limited in its content to the here and now. So if you wish to see a personal guide to grimsby and the surrounding areas i hope you will find this web site suitable for you.

This site is not limited by its name i have included places of interest (and some villages) that fall outside the border but are within a short drive or train ride.

There is a toolbar for those using firefox and explorer on most computer platforms, which gives you extended features from the site, including an un-moderated chat room, and the search for a word marker pen, which i find invaluable. I have included a search feature on the front page, search the internet or the site from one place using google.

I have tried to make the site accessible on mobile phones (opera mini browser) and 10 inch netbooks (msi wind) along with larger screens.

This ever improving site will keep the basic navigation and should be easy to find what your looking for, every holiday season we include a microsite telling you the shop opening times.
